Kindred

The Kindred Brand Book is a collaborative UX/UI design project that brings together research, strategy, branding, and interface design into a comprehensive case study. The project explores the development of Kindred, a mobile application designed to help users build meaningful friendships by discovering and organizing local events based on their interests, personalities, and social preferences.

Created using Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Workspace, the project documents the end-to-end design process, from identifying user needs and pain points to developing low- and high-fidelity prototypes. Through user research, competitive analysis, and iterative design exploration, the team worked to create an experience that makes meeting new people feel approachable, personalized, and engaging.

The final solution combines intuitive event discovery, personalized recommendations, and social planning tools to help users foster real-world connections. The project demonstrates how user-centered design can address common challenges surrounding social isolation and community building while creating a seamless and engaging digital experience.
